30 Days of WWE Challenge Day 12: Funniest Moment

“See, I just kicked Stan!”

It all started as one of the biggest non sequitors in sports-entertainment history.

After a tag team attraction match at Cyber Sunday 2006, there was a segment involving the D-X tandem.

You see, Shawn Michaels is just pressing a key on a laptop for what appears to be no reason. Trips is asking Shawn if he isn’t still trying to vote for the special guest ref in their match (against Rated RKO, Edge and Randy Orton).

After running down the choices, they ponder on Eric Bischoff saying how D-Generation X doesn’t know controversy.

Shawn quips he put Bret Hart in the Sharpshooter, and then says to Triple H that he married, “…oh… what’s her name!”

Off to the side, some plant is just standing there and HBK asks his name. The guy replies Stan, and Shawn STIFFS him on some Sweet Chin Music.

“SEE, I JUST KICKED STAN!”

After failed attempts of calming him down, Shawn storms off, kicking everyone he sees. EVEN THE MAN WITH A MILLION PAGES GETS KICKED, AND THOSE PAPERS WENT FLYING! (Hence the .gif up above)

Triple H, laughing his ass off, replies to the madness, “I’m not sure if that’s controversial, but that’s sure as hell as funny!”
