HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It’s been a while since this ol’ mothership has been updated, and well, it’s almost (or already) 2012!

While the apocalypse may or may not happen in this upcoming year, let’s all reflect on 2011.

All the bad times, and all the good times.

While some of you may have had a really good year, and while some of you may have had a really bad year, my year was a combination of both.

For the first six months of 2011, I was shrouded in debt, unemployment, and a depression that was eased in part due to this blog. While I could trace back my main mistake, which was leaving a secure job while moving, everything is hindsight 20/20. I can say that while this part of the year SUCKED, I dug out of the hole and thus have become a better person...

... Which leads to the other six months of 2011. Gainfully employed full-time, out of debt, and feeling much better about myself. In the process, I lost some 40-odd pounds, all of which came because of employment and a accidental new diet plan.

While I have not been posting as much, I can refer to this as fun and something to look forward to. Whether it’s wrestling or the DVD sub-blog, creativity always flows. 

Also would like to point out that my sister got married this past year, my brother engaged to be married this upcoming year, and while my luck with women isn’t the greatest, I definitely plan on improving that.

Keeping this short, I just want to thank everyone who took time out to read this and the DVD blogs. Since May, I have attracted an audience that quite frankly I’m humbled and appreciative to have. I plan on making more creative content in the coming year, while trying to balance new posts in between the blogs. Love you all, and hope to see even more readers/subscribers in the upcoming year!

Another General Announcement: Introducing Bad Booking’s DVD’s!

As some of you may know, I have a DVD/Blu-ray collection. I am proud of what I have accrued, and even prouder on how I compiled some most of these products.

So starting very soon, I’m going to post pictures and stories about these discs.

Like most people and their collections, the products (at times) can only be as good as the backstories themselves.

So far, including the inevitable Black Friday/Cyber Monday haul, there are well over 300 titles to cover, so there won’t be a shortage of material.

I will also note that I never have went into debt, or any other serious financial hardship to purchase these treasures. I will always maintain that I spend responsibly, and have always put needs before wants.

Which brings me back to my collection.

It all started back in 2001 or so when I got a certain box set as a really early birthday present.

That will kick it off in due time as right now, I’m going to compile pictures (and my brain power) to make something unique and hopefully entertaining. It’s going to be a massive undertaking for sure, but it’s going to be an undertaking I will enjoy as a labor of love (when I’m not punched in at work that is).

So in the mean-time, take this as I won’t be doing many or any new topics for the blog, as my attention will be focused squarely on this peg. With hundreds of titles to catalog, including wrestling, cartoons, and even the Hollywood epics, this is one not to miss!
